I wrote this blog on my deviantart account (www.modelfaye.deviantart.com) last year after shooting for Bizarre mag in August. Thought I'd add it to my website blog now that I've finally gotten started with this :)

Here ya go -

Ok, so having to keep it quiet for what seemed like an eternity, the cover preview of the latest Bizarre has finally been revealed. As you can see from my latest Deviation, I'm only on the bloody cover!!! Myself and Vivi Sterling joint won the 2010 Bizarre's search for a cover star competition. I entered it on the off chance last year, never thinking I'd actually be considered or go through to the finals, let alone win the damn thing! So, I was totally shocked when I got a call from Dave Kelsall (the guy in charge of the cover arrangements)asking me if I'd be free for a shoot in London's Holborn studios. It was surreal and the most substantial turning point in my modeling career so far! I felt truely blessed and it made me feel like all my efforts over the past 4 years had finally paid off.

The stylist for the day was Nina Kate of Jane Doe latex - www.janedoelatex.com and it was an honour to meet her and work with her. I admire her very much! She's like superwoman, she runs a very successful latex couture business whilst juggling a 2nd job (which takes her overseas), works alongside bizarre with cover shoots, she models, AND manages to keep a very happy, strong marriage going.
The make-up artist and hair stylist was Johanna Dalemo, who was fantastic and did a great job with my eye make-up. I'm usually a bit fussy with it but I had no complaints with her work. She's a true talent and she loves MAC, so you can't go wrong! She brought her gorgeous little chihuahua 'foxy' with her. Everyone loves Foxy, she stole the show!
The photographer was Bronk Landers, who photographs for all the top leading men's magazine - fhm, front, nuts etc. I loved working with him, he's so enthusiastic and takes the most intense, incredible pictures (before any editing has been done!). I would recommend him to anyone, and even though I haven't seen the pics inside the mag yet, I have no doubt that they'll be the best ever.
It was lovely to finally meet Vivi as well. She was fuckin funny and random, which I love. Great hair, great face, great legs. Her accent was awesome, pure texan american with a little scottish twang every now n then. She's from texas, but moved to Scotland to be with her husband, which explains the twang. I didn't realise just how tiny she was until I met her either! She's a tiny bundle of gorgeous, but all the best things come in small packages, and I was happy to have a fellow 'small' to play with.
It was great to finally meet Dave Kelsall too...but I wont say too much about him as I'd imagine he wants to keep his identity on the low. You might recognise him popping up in the mag every now n then as the man in the grotty, old looking gorilla suit. I will say though that he's a star to work with and I am indebted to him for choosing me. Thank you thank you thank you Dave!

Also, a final big thank you to everyone else involved, helping and assisting! It was amazing to work with you all! I won't forget any of you

Fae xxxx
